I've been selling on  ebay for about 1 1/2 years. Mostly buying "as is for repair" lots on ebay, repairing/rebuilding the defunct items then retailing them as guaranteed good condition on ebay... It's been very interesting and and moderately successful with about 500 feedbacks-- good DSR's and FB. My old hobby is now a paying hobby. I'd like to take it up a notch and get larger lots direct from the source but darned if I know where they come from. I'm talking mostly salvaged power tools and tool batteries. Any ideas?? ???

where are you located?

Genco has sears loads. and I know of a place that have returns here in Texas. They say that there loads average out to be 25$ an item but these are expensive items in the loads. so 25$ is prob at a good percentage. I still need to take a look at them, but since they are returns they should be mixed with working and non working.

lots you are buying on ebay you will get very cheap since they are broken, another place you can get loads are from craigslist.

if you are wanting to get into liquidations and returns you might pay a lot more then you are used to paying.

Northwest corner of Vermont- about an hour from nowhere- about 40 min northeast of Plattsburg NY. Most of my activity has been  broken Craftsman stuff, esp. replacement items that are real expensive or no longer available from Sears. My biggest problem is consistant availability of stock. I've spent quite bit of web search time but haven't found anything and the ebay sellers aren't talking (neither would I) but notice fewer and fewer listings like I used to buy.

ya supply everwhere is dropping. if you look on gencomarketplace they dont even have the volume of lots they used to have posted.

Many stores are now doing it themsevels, as it's something that is more easy to handel due to slump of sales in stores which means less goods being bought and returned.
